AT&T Now CANCELING Pre-Orders

Looks like this mess of the iPhone 4 continues to get worse by the minute.
People that order an iPhone 4 yesterday, have started to get emails from att saying that your order has been cancelled!

Another FAIL by AT&T

Dear xxxxxxxxxx

Thank you for choosing AT&T.

Unfortunately, we were either unable to verify the information you provided or you have exceeded the number of lines of service that we allow customers to purchase online. As a result, your order has been canceled.

If you would like to purchase additional lines of service, please visit one of our AT&T retail locations and present your identification to our representatives. They will be happy to help you purchase new wireless devices, accessories, and service.

Go to att.com/storelocator to find a store near you.

We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to serving you.

Thank you.

Fortunately, I didn't get one of those cancellation emails. Then again, I was up at Midnight on Tuesday as well as being able to get through at 2:30AM to finally place an order with AT&T because the Apple Store was too SUCK to go through! Apple tries to blame AT&T for their lack of preparing to handle traffic yet they can't either!

Nah it was all ATT's fault. Well actually it was the amount of people clogging up their servers...

Yea, mammoth is right. The problem on Apple's servers was that they couldn't contact AT&Ts servers to check eligibility. But, in all fairness, 600,000 people still got pre-orders in.

Well put, those 600,000 are lucky, especially with AT&T's latest release
