Default SIManager App gives you the capability to import, copy, and delete SIM card contacts

Giovanni Chiappini has updated his SIManager application for the iPhone with an option to copy all your contacts to the SIM card.

SIManager is a beta application that lets you import, edit, and write new SIM contacts.

Whats New In This Version:
- Proper moving numbers with international prefix (eg +39)
- The option 'Add to SIM' immediately truncate the name to 14 characters, which is the limit imposed by the SIM, to make them realize the actual name that is written into the card
- Added the option 'Copy iPhone to SIM' which will take all your contacts and register them in the SIM, joining the other items already available in the database
- Spaces and special characters in the number to be imported into SIM will be removed in order to avoid the error when writing
- Added the ability to move quickly in the list of numbers of the SIM with a double tap on the bar with the inscription 'SIManager (xxx)': double tap on the left - start list, double tap in the center - mid list, double tap on the right - end of list.

If you want to try this beta you can install it through the BeYouriPhone Cydia test repository (http://test.beyouriphone.com).

Default I Don't Think This is Good.

I think that this will make people more likely to get rid of their iPhones. It may be just me. Anyone else agree?

Why would you think that? The app just gives people a way to back up their contacts, even if they use multiple SIM cards.

Personally I feel that the backup to a computer is much more effective. After all the sim only allows for 1 number per contact. But yes it is handy to have a few on the sim for emergencies.
